General Description

Our Program was established in 2005-2006 Education Period Meb-Yok Project as a "Tourism and Hotel Management Program ". In the 2009-2010 Academic Period, "Hospitality Services", in the 2010-2011 Education Period and again "Tourism and Hotel Management Program" got its name.

Graduates have successfully completed the program, "Tourism and Hotel Management" in the field is pre-graduate diploma.

According to the rule of the relevant departments of vocational high school graduates of diploma grade without examination entitled to register with the transition program.

Computer and English classes held at the beginning of each academic semester exemption students who receive a passing grade for exams, these courses are considered exempt.

The courses are all available in the program to successfully complete at least 2.00 weighted GPA of 4.00 at the end of one 30 working days to get the 1st class of the sector and successfully complete the internship.

Tourism and hospitality industry could act in production processes and management services to help you open or run their business on behalf of the four semesters of qualified manpower at a higher education program that aims to educate.

Tourism industry of goods / services related to the private sector and public sector firms that produce are employed.

Students who are graduating, Vertical Transition Examination (DGS) by entering university undergraduate education sections that can enter. Tourism and Hotel Management program, the students who graduated from entering in DGS sections are: Business, Business Informatics, Business Administration-Economics, Hospitality Management, Hospitality Management Education, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Logistics Management, Tourism Management, Tourism and Hotel Management, Tourism and Hotel Management, Tourism and Hospitality Management, Tourism and Guidance.

Each lesson plans for teaching courses in applied measurement and evaluation of detailed defined.

Qualifying conditions and conditions in the rules section are sufficient.

One lecturer has a permanent staff in the Tourism and Hotel Management Program. The courses are supported by various lecturer in the field of Tourism and Hotel Management has completed at least high degree of experience in the tourism sector.


Key Learning Outcomes

1 To have knowledge about accommodation on the functioning of enterprises and skills to be part of housekeeping.
2 To have knowledge about food and beverage management and organizational structure of enterprises, purchasing, storage, production, service and marketing activities and menu planning.
3 To know the basic concepts in tourism sector.
4 To have an advanced knowledge of foreign languages​​ in tourism industry.
5 Basic knowledge of computer use in the field of hotel management and use of software and hardware.
6 To have knowledge about hotel management and human resources management in hotel management.
7 To have knowledge about front office in accommodation industry, using systems in front office, processes in front office, estimating in room rate and budgeting activities in the front office.
8 To have knowledge about general tourism, tourism geographies, tourism economics, tourism marketing, tour operators and travel agencies, research methods and techniques in tourism, tourism law and general accounting.
9 Social, scientific and professional ethical values ​​to have.
10 To have the ability to produce alternative solutions and critical thinking.
