To know the structure of three-phase and single-phase asynchronous motors, to comprehend their features and places of use. To be able to comprehend three-phase asynchronous motor starting, speed control and braking methods and equivalent circuits. To know the structure of synchronous machines. To be able to comprehend loading of synchronous machines and parallel connection of synchronous generators.
