Purpose of this lesson is to teach fluid mechanics principles, equivalence relations and using this equivalence relations in problems. Teaching to students how to use mechanics, momentum, force and mass equivalence relations in different problems, how to use calculating tecniquies in pipe systems, finding flow rate of fluids, energy loss of the system and apply this inputs in general energy relation which is called Bernouilli equation in order to find pressure loss of the system. Teaching pipes and pipe systems, valves, pumps and flowmeters which are used in fluid systems, how to use these equipments in the systems and solving problems according to these equipments.

Learning physical properties of fluids and making classification of fluids according to these properties
Realizing mass, energy and momentum relations in fluid mechanics and apply these relations in problem solving
Defining static and dynamic fluids and understanding differences of flow regime
Making classification of fluids according to compressibility
Learning pressure loss of pipe system for gas and liquid fluids and applying this pessure loss in energy equation.
Describing how to make flow control and flow measurement in fluid mechanics and apply these to different flow
Defining pipes, valves and pumps which are used in fluid transfer and learning problems of these transfer
Solving problems which are related to different pipe systems and designing different flow systems according to given parameters
