3 Mechanical Methods; Homogenizators, Blenders, grinders, agitation with abbresives, liquid and solid extrusion, ultrasonication Chemical Methods ; heat treatment, freeze-thaw, desiccation, osmotic shock, lytic enzymes, alkali treatment, detergents, etc.
4 Centrifugation; Theory, Classification, Types of Centrifuges, Differential centrifugation, Density gradient centrifugation, Membrane filtration techniques
5 Concentration of the extract; Ultrafiltration, Lyophilization, Precipitation techniques( salting-out, salting-in, isoelectric, organic solvents and polymers)
6 Chromatography, Theory, applications, types of Chromatography, Paper and Thin Layer Chromatography, Basic principles and theory of liquid chromatography,
