The aim of this course is to enable students to be able to comprehend relations of art with the elements of artist, work of art, consumer of art and society and to enable them to be able to discuss the theory of philosophers of this age and to be able to consider philosophical dimension of art on works of art.

2 To be able to know the manifestos which developed art movements
3 To be able to explain the relationship between aesthetic and art.
4 To be able to explain the aesthetic communication.
5 To be able to evaluate the relationship between art and politics.
6 To be able to explain the relationship globalization and art.
7 To be able to make comments on the relationship between form and content in art by giving examples.
8 To be able to discuss the ideas of the philosophers who had contributed to the area of aesthetic.
9 To be able to explain the philosophical dimension of art over works of art.
10 To be able to understand and evaluate contemporary art events.

This course basically deals with art and its relations with the works of art, artists, art consumers, nature and society. This course also contents some evaluations over contemporary art events, philosophy of art and aesthetic arguments. Besides, suggests different point of views from variety of philosophers and art critics.
