Dersin Amacı
Bu ders Kafkasya’nın uluslararası sistemdeki yerini ve başlıca aktörler açısından önemini lisansüstü ders seviyesinde incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Ders Uluslararası İlişkiler’in alt dalı olarak Alan Çalışmalarının (Area Studies) tanıtılmasıyla başlamaktadır. Kafkasya’nın yerel dinamiklerinin incelenmesinden sonra ders bölgenin uluslararası süreçler ve aktörlerle etkileşimine dair vaka incelemeleri ile devam etmektedir. Derste Türkçe, İngilizce ve Rusça kaynaklardan faydalanılacaktır ancak Rusça kaynakların tanıtımı sadece dersin hocası tarafından yapılacaktır.
