Ders teknoloji ve toplum ilişkisini sosyolojik açıdan incelemekte ve toplum ve kültürün teknolojik gelişme sürecindeki rolünü ve teknolojik yeniliklerin sosyal gerçekliği nasıl etkilediğini ele almaktadır
