The aim and objectives of this course are to introduce comparative Turkish dialects in Turkey and Balkans



1 To be able to comprehend the importance of dialect researches.
2 To be able to know the importance from comparative researches of dialect
3 To be able to comprehend the general structures of anatolian and balkan dialects
4 To be able to sort the studies in relation with dialect studies
5 To be able to know the transcription signs which used in dialect researches
6 To be able to classify the anatolian and balkan dialects
7 To be able to identify the general features of west group dialects of Turkey Turkish
8 To be able to identify the general features of east group dialects of Turkey Turkish
9 To be able to do analises in comparison form with dialect texts
10 To be able to identify the general features of north-east group dialects of Turkey Turkish

The importance and the necessity of the studies on dialects, the Turkey Turkish and a comparative analysis of those of Works on Turkey Turkish dialects, a critical analysis of the current Works and methods of the related studies will be mentioned within the course.
