Objectives of the Course
The primary purpose of this course is to introduce students to the place of social science in the science building and the transformation of the categorical framework of social sciences provide information about the formation process discipline. Secondly, research methods that are valid in social sciences will be discussed in a holistic understanding. Given the interdisciplinary nature of international relations, the use of multiple methods seems to be widespread. In this context, rather than focusing on a single methodical preference, various methodological tools within different approaches will be introduced to the students. Finally, the ethical rules that apply to the research and writing process in social sciences will be examined. In particular, proper resource use, ethical implementation of methodological preferences and plagiarism will be discussed in detail.

Content of the Course
The first three weeks of the course will focus on the emergence and development processes of social sciences. In the following weeks research fiction will be divided into method selection and methodological tools. The last two weeks will be devoted to the description of ethical rules of scientific research.
