The Fundamentals of Scientific Research course aims to commonize and develop graduate students' existing knowledge about scientific thought and method while deepening their knowledge in the field.

4 Students may be able to define quantitative research methods
5 Students may be able to define the ethical importance in clinical research.
6 Students will have knowledge of basic ethical concepts and consent forms in scientific research.

Within the scope of the course, scientific method, basic concepts and principles in scientific research, research planning, research methods and techniques in the field of health sciences, science and publication ethics will be examined and students will be given the opportunity to plan their research. The course will use a blended learning model, will be guided through the institute's learning management system (moodle) and the following educational activities will be used. 1. Large group sessions (conferences and panels) 2. Seminars 3. Video lessons 4. Repeated workshops in small groups (maximum 16 people) 5. Independent work 6. It will be implemented with project presentation methods. Students will be asked to prepare 2 or 3 midterm assignments and a research proposal at the end and present it as a poster, and their success will be decided depending on their performance here.
