In the Intercultural Communication process course, it is aimed that students gain knowledge about other cultures in the world where borders are removed with the effect of globalization and acquire the necessary competencies regarding the functioning of the communication process between cultures. The aim of this course; To ensure that the intercultural communication process is comprehended and that intercultural communication competence is developed and maintained through the explanation of the basic and interrelated concepts in this process. In addition, it is aimed to discuss the basic functioning of the intercultural communication process through intercultural differentiation and daily life practices, so that students can acquire the necessary skills and competencies regarding intercultural communication dynamics and use them in their individual lives.

Intercultural communication concepts. In the course and content of the course, techniques such as narration, discussion and case study are used based on the method of presentation and invention. In general, the course covers the basic concepts of the lecturer through examples. In order to ensure the active participation of the students in certain subjects of the course, students are asked to attend the lecture one week before the course. In this context, it is aimed to use intercultural communication skills in interpersonal communication process by emphasizing the importance of intercultural communication in terms of individuals who need to work in international dimension.
